There are times when you will want to pull emails from another provider into your current email account in Smartermail. The goal of this article is to provide guidance on how to get this setup.
Required information:
- IMAP hostname
- IMAP port
- Email address
- Email password
IMAP retrieval setup

log in to the Smartermail Webmail as the user that you are needing to set up IMAP retrieval for.

Navigate to “Settings”.

Go to “Connectivity” and choose “New Retrieval task” under “Email Retrieval”.

Fill out the form using the connection details for the user that you are copying emails from. Then click save.
Once you have followed these steps you will need to wait for the automated process to run and then it will start to copy over the emails.
